Encourage green boating practices  

Why - Green boating looks different, depending on what type of vessel you are on. Individuals on committee boats, participant race boats and recreational boats should all be encouraged to learn about the ways they can reduce their environmental impact and follow green boating principles.

 

How – Sailors for the Sea have created a range of helpful green boating guidelines. Look to create ways to share these with your members and encourage a conversation within your club of how you can best achieve these goals with a New Zealand perspective in mind.
