Encourage the idea of a supportive group, or green team, to include the wider club community and ensure they are supported to make decisions with an environmental focus. It will also encourage members to participate and share ideas on how your club can do things better.

How – Reach out to club members and invite nominations to join the general committee in this role. Consider what the key priorities might be for this role at your club and use the Clean Club programme as a supportive guide in deciding how to schedule or plan for your progress. Be open to the idea of a subcommittee or green team to support any larger projects or if you have multiple members expressing interest.
